In the evening, when it's quiet, head to the water's edge and don't miss any of the sunsets!

Nestled at the foot of the Albères mountain range, Argelès-sur-Mer has an exceptional nature heritage.

Coastal path: the must-see
The coastal path is the best known and most popular with hikers and walkers in Argelès sur Mer. It starts from the National Nature Reserve of Mas Larrieu towards the beach of Ouille, on the sea front. It will help you discover the beauty of this nature heritage and reveal exceptional panoramas. By taking this path, you will be able to see the shale cliffs, the magnificent pebbled creeks but also the staircases cut into the rock. The signposts provide more information about the history of the area. This walk can take you as far as Collioure and Port-Vendres and even Spain. You are free to continue your adventure to the Côte Vermeille if you feel like it.

It has about 750 moorings and offers all the services related to boating and maintenance of boats and sailboats. Tourists particularly appreciate the style of the port, surrounded by the Massif des Albères, it offers a surprising view between sea and mountains. There are squares, shops, restaurants and entertainment. The port itself is shaded by trees. It is an excellent idea for a stopover with the family before heading to the beach of Racou and its characterful landscapes.
